James started his career as a stock person for the leader in the retail industry Wal-Mart Stores. Working his way up the corporate ladder and achieving numerous awards he eventually achieved a supervisory role. Even back then James was an advocate for improving the process of how Wal-Mart associates accomplished tasks. Checkout lane traffic and customer service quality and efficiency was optimized, which increased customer satisfaction and improved sales.
When James completed his Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, he obtained a job as a technical recruiter with a small family owned recruiting agency. He pushed for obtaining information the captured “a realistic preview” of the job duties and the work environment. The more quality information we can gather from our clients the better filters we will have in place for screening candidates and placing the appropriate person on the job.
James entered into the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) Masters Program at DePaul University in which in work in the Information Services Department designing custom PeopleSoft applications for the 9 different departments of the university, 2 to 3 applications a week was on his work schedule while attending classes at night.
